Overview
Affnook’s Exchange Rate Support feature enables clients to view their reports in a preferred currency, even if payouts are issued in another. This enhances flexibility and clarity in multi-currency financial reporting.
How It Works
If your payouts are processed in one currency but you'd like to view reports in another, Affnook automatically converts all relevant values from the payout currency into your chosen reporting currency.
Currency Conversion Options
1. Client-Provided Exchange Rate
You have the option to upload or send your own updated exchange rates along with the data through API. These rates will be used by the system for currency conversion in reports, giving you full control over how exchange rates are applied.

Below is an example of how you can send activity data using the API while providing the exchange rate (excr) to convert USD payouts into another currency such as SLE:

Key Fields Explained
currency – The currency in which you want the report to be displayed. In this example, it's
"sle"for Sierra Leonean Leone.excr – The exchange rate used for converting the payout currency (USD) into the reporting currency. In this case,
71.120means that 1 USD = 71.120 SLE.
2. System-Provided Exchange Rate
If you choose not to provide exchange rates, the system will automatically fetch the latest rates from Open Exchange Rates. This ensures that the reports reflect the most accurate and up-to-date information available.
