Postback and Basic API integration

Network Panel

Written by Apurva Tiwari

At a glance: This article will assist you in locating the postback and carrying out the basic API integration.

A postback is essential in the Affnook panel as it acts as the communication bridge between Affnook and the brand’s system. Once a campaign is created, the postback ensures that activities—such as a goal, customer, or any activity—is accurately tracked and reported back to the brand in real time. Without postbacks, activities would go unrecorded, leading to discrepancies in tracking and reporting.

Accessing Postbacks
Once a campaign is created, you can access its postbacks by navigating to the specific campaign. From there, proceed to the Conversion Postback section, where you will find all the relevant details and configurations.

  1. Goal Postback URL (Pre-Registration URL): Used to track when a user completes a predefined goal.

  2. Customer Postback URL: Used to record customer-related actions or events shared back with the brand.

  3. Activity Postback URL: Used to capture and report specific activities or engagements performed by the user within the campaign.
