Introduction
Affnook's promo code tracking feature allows you to measure the impact of your promo codes in various marketing campaigns. By assigning generic, exclusive, and one time promo codes, you can monitor how many customers are using these codes and determine which campaigns are driving the activities. This tool is invaluable for refining your promotional strategies and maximizing campaign success.
Add a New Promo Code
To add a new promo code:
Navigate to the Promo Codes section under the Manage section.
Click on New Promo Code and fill in the required details.
Code: Enter the promo code in this field. While the code is not case-sensitive, using uppercase letters is recommended for consistency and ease of use.
Status: Choose the appropriate status for the promo code—Pending, Active, or Future—based on your specific requirements.
Bonus: Specify the bonus amount that users will receive when they use the promo code.
Bonus Currency: Select the currency in which the bonus will be awarded.
Campaign: Select the campaign to which the promo code will be applied.
Type: Determine the type of promo code:
Generic: Valid for all affiliates. It requires Affnook-generated tracking link to record activities.
Exclusive: Valid for a specific affiliate. Activities are tracked even without a tracking link.
One-time: Similar to Exclusive, but the promo code can only be used once.
Affiliate: Whitelist or block specific affiliates from using this promo code.
Description: Provide any relevant details or instructions regarding the promo code.
Start Date/End Date: Set the start and end dates to define the period during which the promo code will be valid, if applicable.
Access Promo Code Reports
To check whether activities have been recorded using a promo code:
Go to the Affiliate Report section.
Apply a Promo Code Filter to see the relevant data.
